The direct costs of lubrication are very small, at 1-3% of a typical maintenance budget. However, the impact the quality of the products and the effectiveness of your lubrication schedule has on your maintenance and spare parts bills is very significant. The Institute of Mechanical Engineers says that lubrication represents a 1:40 investment rate.  In other words, each $1000 you spend on quality lubricants and lubrication will yield savings of $40,000.

To a large degree, your organization’s success (and your own career success) depends on your ability to get things done – on time and with the desired result. This is the focus of the following set of courses – to bring you the proven techniques, guidelines and strategies that world-class organizations rely on to stay competitive in today’s highly demanding market.

Noria’s Lubrication Process Design (LPD) offers a three-part action plan that can help you build a complete lubrication PM and PdM program from the ground up at a world class level.

LPD Phase I includes benchmarking, planning and scoping of a lubrication program best suited for your facility, plus a cost benefit analysis. Phase II provides detailed program design and Phase III is the actual implementation of the recommendations made in Phases I and II. The LPD results in the compilation of highly-customized task-based procedures for each asset complete with task specific details, and the oil analysis test procedures to use.
